The Civic Action Scorecard is a toolkit designed to help you become civically engaged at Slippery Rock University! With over 125 possibilities of civic actions, you can start by volunteering in the community, registering to vote, or learning about your elected officials. The Scorecard will guide your growth as a civic learner, assist you in creating a portfolio to demonstrate your learning and enable you to earn a variety of Civic Action Awards for your efforts. Using the Scorecard is fun, easy, and empowering!

Civic Action Award levels include:
- Bronze (100 points)
- Silver (200 points)
- Gold (300 points)
You can also earn awards in specific civic action categories (75 points each) that include:
- Arts and Culture
- Community Well Being
- Democratic Citizenship
- Environment and Sustainability
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
- Social Innovation (COMING SOON)
For 2023-2024, all students who successfully complete any award requirements by April 1, 2024 will receive an certificate and digital badge of their award(s), and be publicly recognized at the April 19, 2024 Community & civic Engagement Celebration to be held at Smith Student Center on the SRU campus.
