Founded in 1854 as the Orphan's Home and Farm School, today Glade Run provides mental health, educational, developmental disability, community monitoring and housing supports, and equine/animal and horticulture programming for children, adults and families. Programming is provided in schools, homes, and community based settings. Headquartered in Zelienople, Glade Run also operates physical offices in Butler, Beaver Falls, Pittsburgh, Wexford, West View, Rochester, and New Castle. Glade Run also operates two private licensed K-12 schools in Zelienople and Utica, PA for students with emotional/behavioral health issues and/or autism and other developmental disabilities. Glade Run Adventures is an educational and therapeutic equine, animal and horticulture program that is operated from the agency's historic Zelienople campus.
