Catholic Campus Ministry is an outreach of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh to the SRU community. The Catholic chaplain and campus minister are present particularly to meet the spiritual needs of students, providing pastoral counseling, spiritual formation programs/events and opportunities for prayer and to receive the sacraments. The Newman Center serves as a place of worship with Mass celebrated 6 days a week, as well as a students center with spaces for prayer, relaxing, studying and gathering. It is located at 342 Normal Avenue, next to McKay Ed. bldg.
